What the heck is Mastodon?
Mastodon is the relatively new social media platform on the block. It's seen as a Twitter alternative and allows likeminded people to form focused communities to meet and to share knowledge. When joining Mastodon users are asked to sign up to a server, think of a server as a community. We have created the first Mastodon server/community focused on homelife, maintenance, DIY and home renovation.
Get Started
We have created an account for each of our experts to create and share content with the aim to grow our community... We'll even pay you to post :-)
2. Login using your @yourhome.social user name and password that you will have received from us.
Your posts will be shared with our community automatically. We will pay out £2.00 per post and will tally them up every two weeks. Each post must:
- Include an image
- Include at least the one Hastag #homemaintenance , but feel free to add more relevant tags.
- Be relevant to your either your area of expertise and or DIY/home maintenance/lifestyle
Feel free to create posts giving your views on relevant news articles or new legislation coming into force in your areas of expertise, you can include links to news articles or to relevant case law.
